Phill Drobnick, the head of the U.S. men’s and mixed doubles programs, joins the show to discuss how he got involved in coaching, helping John Shuster’s team pull off the “Mira-curl on Ice” to win Olympic gold and how top teams are formed differently in America than in Canada. Drobnick also talks about their new under-25 program plus the youth movement taking shape at the ongoing U.S. national championships.
